Hebridean Sheep
Hebridean sheep can look quite menacing in the half light at 4am
They are always horned, sometimes with 4 horns, and completely black with a piercing stare - which is quite alarming when you are out checking them at first light during lambing time.
They can be quite flighty, and are difficult to truly tame. They will always keep a distance from humans and are normally found in the furthest corner of the field. They keep their own company and are normally the last group to move through a gate.
Their fleece has a long staple length which keeps them warm in even the coldest wind. They are resistant to a lot of the problems commercial sheep face such as fly strike or foot rot.
